Kemetian connection to macedonia sesotris troops

] Sonia Bakaric and James Hider, Former Yugoslav Republic of
Macedonia's Pharaonic past, Agence France-Presse, Issue of 17 April
2001: Article from archive section of Ekathimerini - Greece's
international English Language Newspaper, Issue of 17 April 2001.

The writers state that: "Ramiz Zemil struggles to keep alive a
tradition his ancestors brought to the Balkans from Egypt more than
2,000 years ago. Zemil, 48, is a member of one of the most unexpected
ethnic minorities that make up the Balkans' mixed and often
conflicting nations: He and up to 15,000 others claim their descent
from the ancient Egypt of the Pharaohs." In the interests of being
brief, more useful detail is omitted with the comment that Herodotus
spoke of the campaign of Sesostris III where a large contingent of
soldiers remained behind after a campaign that took them to the
region of Yugoslavia.

The question is: "Did the ancient Egyptians take their culture with
them (as the article gives evidence of the fact) and is there a
precedent for Egyptian armies bringing their culture and religion
where traces can be found today? It appears so. In:

[B] Yves Bonnefoy (compiler), Mythologies, v. 1, (The University of
Chicago Press, Chicago, 1981), pp. 139 - 140,

the writer speaks of the vast Indian iconography found in India and
speaks of: "... India's colonization in the time of Seostris (~1800
BC), it was still taken seriously by Newton in his chronological
studies." It was Pignoria who made the observation. Our study of
comparative religion, comparative archeology, comparative culture all
date back to Pignoria - the first to employ it and did so in a
comparison between Indian and Egyptian iconography.

The Valley of Mummies features figures cast in gold, laden with
silver, accompanied by figurines. In:

[C] Iota Myrtsioti, Gold and silver were used to adorn
the dead in ancient Macedonia - Their wealth accompanied them in the
afterlife, Ekathimerini - Greece's international English Language
Newspaper, Issue of 10 September 2002,

the
writer states:

"Two centuries before the time of Philip and Alexander, the ancient
Macedonians used to dress their dead in gold from top to toe. Their
wealth followed them into the afterlife, as shown by the grave
ornaments (weapons, jewelry and dozens of funeral gifts) of prominent
officials in the Macedonian aristocracy that bear witness to the
heroism, power and leading role of some sixth-century BC families ...
the ancient Macedonians buried their dead in wooden sarcophagi in pit
graves, the men with their heads facing west or north, the women
facing east or south. Warriors were buried with their armor and
weapons (bronze helmet with gold strips, iron sword with gold
decoration, knives and spear tips). They wore gold and silver
mouthpieces, gold, silver or ivory rings on the fingers and clasps on
their bodies. Their shoes were decorated with gold ribbons and
rosettes, while their leather or linen cuirasses and other garments
were ornamented with gold foil decorated with rampant lions, plants
and geometric designs ... Already 300 graves have been found, `but
not
even a 1,000th of the area has been excavated,' says Chrysostomou."

Today, in:

[D] Overlapping Genetic And Archaeological Evidence Suggests
Neolithic Migration, Stanford University Medical Center, Posted 11
September 2002,

the world's leading authority on the use of genetics to understand
human population movements from the last 50,000 years teamed up with
an archeologist to show that both genetic and archeological evidence
showed movement of middle easterners into Europe 12,000 years ago.
Underhill writes: "You have to look at genetics, material culture
(archeological findings), linguistics and other areas to find
different lines of evidence that reinforce each other." Is it time
for new, cooperative approaches in understanding past cultures? But,
to go back to the main idea.

ARE THE MACEDONIAN BURIALS EGYPTIAN?: What supports the possibility
that they are? First, the golden burials in Macedonia preceded the
birth of Alexander. And the claim of Macedonians affirming Egyptian
heritage would go back to the troops of Sesostris, arriving ~1800.
Herodutus and monuments serve as support of the idea. The arrival of
Egypto-Macedonians also predate Alexander. If one believes their
claims, they brought Egyptian customs with them. And this would be
before his birth. Macedonian burials are of the same type and
extravagance as those in the Golden Valley of the Pharoahs. In the
interests of brevity, and as the post is short, the further evidence
that the population of 15,000 Macedonians are Egyptians are referred
to as implications in the above paragraphs.

Concluding: Genetic evidence may show or disprove the claim of the
population of 15,000 Macedonians that they are descended from the
Pharaohs. Supportive evidence from Pignoria (please read text in
Bonnefoy, [2] above) shows the likelihood that the army of Sesostris
set up temples to Ptah, lotus gods, cosmogonies; is Buddha the
phonetic equivalent of Ptah with Buddha? 1. Buddha emerging from the
lotus identical to Nefertum doing so? 2. Is the Buddhist rebirth from
the lotus by the righteous man similar to Egyptian? 3. Is the world
born from the Lotus in Buddhism the same as the occurrence in Egypt?
4. Buddhist second death like Egyptian? 5. Buddhist reincarnation
like Egyptian?) Those last five are my thoughts - an opinion?) in
India. Would the same tendency have occurred in Macedonia by Egyptian
troops to implant their culture? It was the warriors and their
weapons in Macedonia, after all, that were laden in gold. Where is
the answer to the above? Would the way to approach this possibility
be to combine the mode of research recommended by Underhill to
combine archeology and genetics together more powerful tools than
either separately?

My major questions follow. Does it seem that the Macedonian find
points a finger at a population of descendents of Egyptian soldiers
under Sesostris? Does it seem that there is a relationship between
what happened in India and Macedonia?
