There were negriod types in Lower Egypt as well just not a large element. I will agree that for the most part that Northern Egyptians likew today were lighter than Upper egyptians,but I would not necrasirly call them white.
I have already adressed this with you being that I am a native Egyptian myself,and I can tell you for a fact many dark skinned Egyptians still exist that have African features which would easily pass for black here in America.
The neacropolis which Brunton exploered at El badari in Middle Egypt
continaed proof of progress in the various spheres of activity. By
know,copper had made it's apperance and the tombs continaed stone
vases and statuettes. The Badarians who had inherited much of
neolithic civlization,bequeathed their techniques to the
Amartains,who settled in Erment and siut. They were inturn were
succed by the Gerzens who spread over a wide area,infact they
occupied all the sites which had been inhabited by the
amartains.Evidence of their pressence has also been discovered aT
NEKHEN in Upper egypt,and at various parts in the valley opposite the
Fayium,at Helwan,where the archeolopgist of Cairo University are
exploring the dwelling of which tools,stone vases,pottery,copper,and
toliet asessories have been found.The Skeletopns in the above mentioned cemetaries aND VILLAGES WERE
CHEIFLYof Meditterean and negriod types:a small secton belonded to
the cro magnoid types,and even smaller proportions opt the
brachycephalic types.Page 19-20

Egypt's population in the nile valley was extemely mixed and it
remainded so.So I would agree that the delta Egyptians wqere probally medditerean,but I doubt that many Lower egyptians were what you would call pure white.
Even today around Lower egypt you can see un european chracteristics like wide noses yet thin lips. High bridged noses,yet full lips.
I can so you a picture of a carionene who had a narrow noses,yet you can clearly see he has tightly curled hair.
