genetic variation and DNA test thus far can only tell us so much. There is nothing we know now that can truly link people. Mostly it can tell that people are distinct to an extent. Also it would be hard to link people who have intermixed with distinct peoples. Many of the genetics of European and Arab jews are closer to European trends than to the ancient genes. this is becuase the Jewish cummunity has cuased a great deal of mixing. The easiest genes are traced through genes present in males and passed down from father to son. these are impossible to keep up in high numbers in an oppressed people.
