It is true that the Elamites as well as the people living along the shores of the Persian Gulf were originally Dravidian but I don't know wehre you get the notion that the Aryans called tehse people "uggly". It is true that the Aryans of India created a severely racist and segregated society based on race and color but that was not the case in Iran.

As a matter of fact, the Persians had first settled the region of Lake Urmieh in northwestern Iran (where there is still a significant population of people with light hair and eyes) some 2700 years ago. This is when they entered history and were identified by the Assyrians.

It took them another 100-150 years to complete the process of migration that took them from northern Iran all the way to the Elamite kingdom of Anshan in southern Iran. There, they peacefuly met with the Dravidian people who allowed them to settle on parcels of land provided they paid taxes, aknowledged Elamite rule and supplied troops in times of war.

THe Persians were so taken by the Elamites and their ancient civilization (going back 5500 years) that tehy adopted all aspects of Elamite culture. Elamite gods such as Inshushinak and Nanai were still worshipped until the Sassanians who made the offical religion of Persia Zoroastrianism.

Furthermore, the Persians gave up their traditional nomadic Iranian dress which consisted of a loose fitting tunic and trousers (trousers were invented by the Aryans to facilitate horse-riding)in favor of the Elamite dress which was then known to the west and to teh Greeks as the "Persian robe", the one that you may have seen on the rock carcings and reliefs from Pars, kermanshah and Shush.
