Brothas,

It might have been Europeans who 'officially' coined the 'concept' of race but you cannot tell me that Africans and other non-European peoples wouldn't have conceived of this 'concept' when they encounterd Europeans. I am from Africa( Senegal ) by the way. point blank,The number one main reason why scientists say race is not a bioligical concept is because o the genetic closeness between humans, but, as I pointed out, this proves nothing considering the genetic closeness between us and other organisms.

It is not written in stone somewhere that it is or is not inccorect to classify a 'race' based on phenotype. 'race deconstructionists' seek to 'deconstruct' the 'concept' of race by playing these silly little word games of what they define as a 'race'and so on.
