Interesting thread,....I am a 100% Iranian/Persian married to a 100% English/Scotish man and our son has red hair, I mean bright copper color. My husband is a red head who had been married before to a fully Irish woman with red head sisters and siblings but none of their three children ended up with red hair. We did!! I have NO red heads in my family, my hair and eyes are black. This must say a lot about Iranian's recessive genes! How do I post pictures?

and pls don't twist by saying it's bc my son is half...red hair is incredibly recessive, even those who are cariers still have a low 25% chance, so this tells me the incidence of hidden red hair gene in the middle east, including in Iran must be lot higher than in many other places. It just shows up when you mix with someone who is a 100% red head, since as I said, the chances for two carrier is extremely low.
