Questions for African American Muslims in the military

This is an issue/question that has plagued me for some time. I always believed that when the Soviet Union collapsed, America would need another political and military scapegoat; thus Muslims and Islam in the Middle East, or people of color somewhere in the Third-World. Furthermore, I always questioned why Muslims would want to join the US military establishment--particularly in light of Palestine, Iran during the regime of the Ayatollah Khomeini, Iraq etc.

With that in mind I raise these questions, what will African American Muslim military personnel do when the call is made to go to war against your fellow Muslim brothers, sisters and children? Will you obey your capitalist masters, or obey the Quran? Will you refuse based on moral, religious, and spiritual concerns?

These are questions that must be considered by all concerned.
