...Lineage fascinates me, especially the physical characteristics which seem to identify people from all parts of the earth. As a descendant of Jewish people (Germany,Russia) I often wonder how it came to be that my ancestors, myself and my offspring are blonde and very blue eyed. This is not a characteristic of the "original" middle eastern Jew. Our descendants did not intermarry so how did the fair haired, blue eyed Ashkenazi come about??? Makes me wonder if we came from converts at one time long ago...???
