Africa has potential, ability, guts, witts, intelligence to name a few. What concerns me though is the people who find themselves in gov't
and FREEZE!
They have the backing from the people when it comes to VOTING but once they get in office it's a different story. Could it be that they focus on issues that does not bring about immediate change?
Does it have to do with lack of financial support, greed, lack of motivation to produce, fear, lack of control of deteriorating health conditions for the nations people, lack of proper management of the country's resources. I think that the situation becomes overwhelming and that because there is so much suffering in the different parts of Africa, most of the time is put into fulfilling the immediate need of food, clothing, housing, etc but the burden seems to rest on issues involving poverty and combating diseases. Maybe the doctors and highly professional staffs in the different fields should contribute to their country through a major network to help reduce the burden.
Maybe this is one of the reasons why the country does not seem to be moving forward. I believe that Africans have the mastermind for it, but they seem to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. So while it may benefit a few to leave their country in search of a better life (let's say), it adds up to becoming a loss for their country as a whole. (one man's gain is another man's loss)
