i'm still trying to learn the most i can from contributors on all sides of the debate. at the moment though, i've got this to say about something that has thus far struck me: people like thomas tran who state a claim and go on to slam the tag 'fact' on it, smear this page and rob it of its intellectual purity and sophistication. he made me want to log off, but for the intelligent contributions of others on both sides. by the way, he must be using the word 'fact' in a very loose sense, because 'fact' is not same thing as 'truth' in technical philosophy. when you are having a serious debate, thomas tran, you choose your words carefully. about Bill Gates and this IT age of ours, it's testimony to how unthorough your appreciation of variables involved in a debate are, that you exclusively credit Gates with how far the internet has come to this day.
