History through Music

I have always found that through music comes learning. Bassist/composer/instrumentalist Richard Bona in his latest release Tiki provides a lense to African Diaspora music as well as South American music and the rich history of jazz music. World/Jazz /African music fans NEED to take a listen to Bona. My UMGD internship exposed me to Bona who has in turn exposed me to worlds exemplified through his music. Please check his website at www.bonatology.com to see what has opened my eyes!
