I have read with great interest the arrival of old world people to the new world. In my opinion there is no doubt that there was a pre-columbus or pre-viking connection between mediterain and african civilization in the Americas. According to Paul Barton, Black African civilizations dating back a 100,000 years have had an influence or connection with early american societies. Although I am white, I am even more convinced that my ancestors were part of these cultures. And i am proud of my African ancestry...eventhough it was 20..30...or 40 thousand years ago. People are products of there enviroment. Physical features over years, wether its skin color, height, bone structure...or what ever. We are all part of the Human Race....and we all have a common lineage....
