There has been alot of mystery about what race Hannibal was descended from,but when you look at those coins minted in his in his name, you see a coin with his favourite elephant SURUS and on the otherside you see the head of a curly headed many of Africoid extraction and the word slave has been attached to this so called unknown slave.
my own sense tells me that if I am going to go to the trouble to mint a coin with my favourite elephant on one side then surely the other person most likley to go on the opposite side would be myself.
Not sure what people think of this would welcome any feed back
