They said they gave Bin Ladin an opportunity to come forth. Firstly, who knows if Bin Ladin is anywhere in the vicinity of Afghanistan. Just because CNN says he is, doesnt make it so. But the second problem is that even though America and its allies have evidence, which may or may not be conclusive, it is possible that Bin Ladin had absolutely nothing to do with what happened in NY. If you want to tell me that it is impossible that I am right on this second point, then I will gladly retract what I wrote. I know the US government along with CNN tried and convicted him.

As for the US showing real concern for these people, they are going to drop bombs on them, and some food as well. I don't know if the people will rush to catch food only to find out it was bombs. Well I guess by that time it is too late.

I believe the US will go all the way this time. After all, there are great riches awaiting the US in Afghanistan, which was proven by US$200Million in seismic testing conducted in 1998. Wonder if Unocal has the ability to effect US foreign policy?
