Re: Portrait of new saint stirs controversy in Mex

Does this not sound familiar? Many non-caucasian images and characters throughout history, from the Bible to Ancient Egypt and beyond, have been deliberately portrayed as european. Eurocentrist can't deny this but always do.

Do the facial features of the Vegas Sphinx resemble the Sphinx of Egypt? No! It was no accident the blue-eyed, keen-featured, Vegas Sphinx was designed to look caucasian. This is just one of many examples of false images by eurocentrist.

Now the Indians of Mexico are victims of this propaganda. One would have to ask themselves why do false images continue to happen? Does the truth hurt the conqueror that much?

I'm sure people of caucasian decent would be highly offended if one were to erect an image of Julius Caesar with dark skin and an Afro.
