Well! I guess it will be inexpedient to blame anyone at this time after all the pentagon /White House has achieved it’s objective. Perhaps the new legislation/laws needs a knee-jerk that would overwhelm the American public against any opposition against these new fascist laws.
Another angle is, the Administration will well want to let the world know that the empire have again been compromised, sending signals that they aren’t succeeding after all.
Suddenly the Alliance will find themselves too lucky so far and pull out so as not to attract what seems to be an entirely American wrath on American soil.

It is clear that the Afghan people will lose less than Americans would if the unjust war continues.
The US must, have, and bound to, review its criminal policy and behavior.
