Has anyone read the new book, "Nigger". I read an article in the newspaper a few weeks back in which the author is qouted and I just read the first chapter while at the book store.
My feeling from the newspaper was that the author was defending the use of the word being used today, yet after reading the first chapter I don't know how he could do that.
Could anyone shed any light on this for me?
