How ironic is it, that non-whites who have benefited and continue to benefit from the civil liberties fought and died for by Black Africans have now become advocates of racial bigotry.
But then, isn't it ironic that the pioneer in blood plasma research Dr. Charles Drew, was denied access to medical treatment after a motor vehicle accident, because of his skin color. Another irony is that Otis Boykins the African-American inventor of the pacemaker, an electronic device for heart stimulation, died in Chicago of heart failure.
If admission into the human race were dependent on the measure of ones humanity, there would be no discussion about race. During the colonial era the only voices heard against colonial oppression were from the African Diaspora. Haiti became the only nation to defeat a colonial power in battle. Ethiopia remains the only African nation never to be colonized. Both nations were lead by Black Africans. The real irony is that because of theirs' and others refusal to be subjugated you now have a voice. Guard it well. And revisit your history books before posting accusations about "free rides" and "handouts" Negro is the Spanish translation for Black. It is not a cultural or ethnic description.
