Egyptologis say they do not think about the race of the ancient Egyptians or that they can not be described in modern racial terms but yet and still they say they were white. I have never been to Egypt but did meet some Egyptians in college that varied in skin color and hair types. The question of the race of the ancient Egyptian came up in class one day and all the whites said they were white like they are today. One Egyptian man agreed the other two said nothing. After class one of the two told me his mother was black and his father was pale and had an afro. He said he thought it was wrong for whites to say what his people are and added that white people are not always right about what they think.
