The real facial beard has no significance with ancient egyptians and their descendants. The fake beard was of of major significance as far as royalty goes...see tutankhamun golden mask...the boy king had no real long chin hair like the mask displays. Maybe if you want to be cousins to 'MODERN DAY' Egyptians as he said, you have to have chin hair and a mustache, but this is not so when it comes to the ancient egyptians.
