''Brown in coloration, just like the Egyptians portrayed themselves 80% of the time''
Well,I mean this is trivial considering that most African Americans at least the ones I have seen on television from where I live are in fact around the same complexion as me,and I am a native Egyptain.
I do consider upper egyptains to be black, because negriod chracteristics are still rather high in the rual areas of Egypt that were not affected by arab invasions. I donot believe that arab invasion can equally explain the diversity in egypt, but it is a known fact to many anthropologist and other people that the city dwellers in Egypt are in fact either foregin or left over from turkish rule.
The only really mixing in Egypt occured in the cities.
By the way Dark brown is what most African Americans are,and in fact what you might not know depnding on the region that African American tourist go they fit in quite well with the population.
However I by making this statement am not insisting that Western Africans are the desendants of the ancient egyptains.
