First north Africans don't all consider themselves as "white". Many do simply do not identify as white for they are brown/copper skined.
Well,that may be the case for some,butI meet a kaybele man who considered himseklf toi be a white person.
Yes,northern africans vary in shades,and so do egyptains,which i happen to be very dark skin with tightly curled hair. There was a man who migrated to america named moustafa hefny who is an egyptain weho sued the american goverment for classifying him white and prefered the black label
maybe you have heard the story.
For the last time i am of algerian and egyptain desent.
