About your agurment focus just on western africa.
Being a modern day egyptain I get kind of upset when some african centured people say modern day egyptains are not the desdants of the ancientkemetians,while it is true that lower egypt were greatly mixed with some asian elements. Upper egyptain fellahin stil retain their african look.
I know quite a bit about western african history and believe me pre colonial times are not to be ashmed of. Many groups in western africa sharer a deep kinship with the ancient kemetians because of similar spirtual systems.
Kmt beyond a doubt was an african culture and definatley a black culture as yoruba and other is for western africa.
But please don'tmake the mistake and say all modern day egyptains look like arabs,bercause you go deeper in the nile you would be suprised they still have an africanlook.
