Would you please comment on the papyri of Ani and Hunefer and the many examples of Egyptian portrait sculpture which depict the Egyptians as light-skinned? This has nothing to do with the Arab invasions- it has to do with racial mixing in neolithic times. Europe is by and large white; sub-Saharan Africa is by and large black. In between is a zone of brown folks extending from Morocco to Syria. What does this suggest? The Mediterranean is a people-magnet, a melting-pot and has been for many millenia. Did you know that the "traditional" enemies of the pharaohs were the Syrians and the Nubians. What do you think that fort at Semneh was for? If you won't address the evidence I've laid on the table, I must conclude that you're unable to. I have an open mind on all matters anthropological; I just think you're wrong about Egypt. Address the evidence: that's how the game of scholarship is played.
