I disagree. The term "Nubian" designates nationality, not race. The Egyptians, as I've said before, were composed of numerous nationalities. There were Libyan, Nilotic African, Nubian, and Asiatic elements from the very beginning, which only came together when the Two Lands were conquered by Narmer (Nilotic type). From this great prehistoric stew of peoples emerged the Egyptians, whose culture was arguably African.
The same can be said about the Nubians. You could argue that the various tribes of Kush, Menroe, and Napata were separate 'African' races, each with their own distinct features and so forth, but all were equally Nubian, as both Lower and Upper Egyptians are today equally Kemetic, the former being more Mediterranean (though still retaining minor African elements, mostly in rural areas), and the latter being black.
