Black seems like a weird word to be using. It's not even a race, it's just a color, coming from the original french term negril -> negro -> black. It has no meaning at all. There are many tribes in Africa as different from each other as any other tribe is different from other.
One can say that there are greater genetic distances between a Zulu and a Celt than between a Celt and a Norseman. Until the genetics are all worked out, black just defines phenotypic variance towards darker skin. It has no meaning in race.
