I have read many of the arguments posted here. I must say I am grateful for the commentary and applaud everyone for their interest in such a rich discussion as Ancient Egypt. However, I notice too much emphasis is on the racial makeup of ancient Egypt instead of the spiritual makeup thereof. Let me first educate you on the balance of civilization here so we can place ancient Egypt in its proper place in history. The Pharaoh's of ancient Egypt referred to themselves as Egypt. Thus when we talk about racial makeup of ancient Egypt it is only important to look at the racial makeup of the Pharaoh himself. The priests and commoners don't matter very much in the overall argument here. When looking at the Pharaoh and the bible we can look at the relationship between Pharaoh and Joseph. It is written in the bible that Joseph was made a father to Pharaoh by God himself. However, Joseph and his family, including his father Israel could not eat with Pharaoh. Thus, the same level of respect and majesty could not be enjoyed in public view. However, Pharaoh and Joseph joined together in a spiritual business partnership formed by God himself. Later, the bible indicates a new Pharaoh came along that had no knowledge of this partnership and enslaved Israel. Many scholars refer to this Pharaoh as Rameses II.

The Egyptian Pharaoh has been unmatched by any other monarch in history as a ruler. This includes Caesar, kings of Babylon and Greece, the Hyskos, Hittites and the President of the United States. All these other kings lasted a very short time in comparison to the reign of Pharaoh and the supremacy of ancient Egypt. I believe this is what all the fuss is all about. If one can determine the race of Pharaoh or ancient Egypt one will get the feeling of national pride. Remember, it is pride that destroyed Rameses II and set the stage for the fall of ancient Egypt in the first place.

With this in mind there has been no other powerful position held by man on planet earth for a longer period of time than Pharoah himself. Thus Pharaoh is the most powerful man in the world outside of God. however, in his death his greatest quest was to have an eternal relationship with God. Abraham, Joseph, Israel, Joshua, David, the prophets and apostles are all superior to Pharaoh as result of the spirit of God living inside of them. As it states in the book of Hebrews many people of faith have an eternal inheritnace in Christ because of their faith in Him. Jesus is therefore Lord of even Pharaoh's greatest desire.

The point is who are you? What are you really debating? Are you black, white, Arabic or whatever? The question is what has Pharaoh taught you? What have you done to prove your keen eye of Osiris? If you haven't done anything to obtain Pharaoh's greatest desire than you are simply an observer of great men playing a great game. That would make you a fan of the game. If you are a fan there is nothing wrong with that. No matter the race you can be a fan. Anyone knows a fan will travel both land and sea to see a good game. Just ask the queen of Sheba how important it was for her to travel far just to listen to Solomon. Common sense tells you many people admired and flocked to Pharaoh of all races and sexes. The heart of the matter is that altough Pharaoh and the ancient Egyptians may have been religious he was only a man. He was not a god although he thought he was; At least until Joseph and Moses jumped on the scene. How many women flock to men of power? The bible tells us even Abraham, the father of faith, sent his wife on a mission to Pharaoh. Did he reject her? Not until he had a bad dream. Therefore it was normal practice for women that were not Egyptian to make his aquaintance if they had the looks. Solomon had 1000 wives, David killed a man for his wife, she was Solomon's mom. Solomon's first wife was Pharaoh's daughter. If you want to check out history check out the women. You ask the question about race? I ask you what about the trace?

Pharaoh Rameses II had many wives, sons and daughters. The royal sperm was being handed out like the finest gold of Ophir. These royal children had children and the royal blood line spread. Africa was attacked from everywhere many times over. This includes ancient Egypt, the head of Africa. Where did these children go? Where are they today? The blood line is still in this world you know. Does your DNA match that of the Pharaoh's? In the tombs the people are excavating the most precious treasure inside,and that is the mirror. Who are you? What race are you? Look in the mirror. If you are not of the line you are simply a fan. Don't look down on being a fan, be a good one. Whether you are black, white, Arab, Asian or whatever. Don't talk like you're an expert on the game when you are only a fan. You are talking from theory. The question is does your blood flow royal? If it does than look at the harm your blood has caused this world and understand it is not pure blood without sin. Then look at Jesus and the blood he has shed and understand your importance in this game is limited. Egypt served as a safe house for him and that is good. If you are baptized into Christ he will send his Spirit into your heart and you can be a safe house for his Spirit. You will be more than what any Pharaoh ever hoped for at this point. You will be what Rameses II claimed "The Great House." A temple not built by hands but with greater worth than what Solomon used to build the great temple of Jerusalem. This is the mystery. Is this your destiny? Oh yeah! I happen to be black but lovely myself. What does that say about it all? I just gave you a little as an heir. Come for more if you dare.
