By the way I think a good journal project would be for people to study the modern day habits and relgions of rual egyptains. Rual Egyptains still have traces of their ancietn culture,and much like African slaves sychrinzed their relgions with christainty,modern day rual egyptains do the same.
Also there are more things in modern day egypt which are leftovers from ancient egypt and people don;t realize it.
Like shem el nessim celebration,and lighting lanterns and floating it in the nile,which greek writters such as plutarch document.
