Mr Tecumseh: You said in your initial response that you read basically the first paragraph of my "essay." There were some other paragraphs there, too, and they prove that Egyptians frequently depicted themselves as light-skinned, in direct contradiction of the statement in the book which I quoted. Now, if you would like to address yourself to the specific points I raised, I will discuss the matter with you. If not, this discussion will go nowhere and waste my time. I think it's pretty obvious that Egypt was just what I said it was: a multi-racial society where intermarriage in high places could and did occur (witness Ynaa and Tiy, for instance). Was it uni-formly Black? No, and I proved this with a fraction of the evidence at my disposal. Or perhaps the Black Egyptians like Ani and Hunefer and Nefertiti and Sesostris III wanted their artists to portray them as white folks....
